Overview

Chapman University seeks a Senior PeopleSoft Developer to lead the evolution of its core enterprise systems. This hybrid role focuses on designing and refining PeopleSoft applications for HR, payroll, finance, and student services. The position offers a strong base salary of $127,000 and an extensive benefits package. Applicants must live in California; highly qualified candidates may be considered for remote work with occasional campus visits.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of hands-on PeopleSoft application development experience.
• Direct experience supporting PeopleSoft Human Resources, Payroll, and Time and Labor 9.2.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• In-depth knowledge of App Designer, App Engine, Integration Broker, SQL, PeopleCode, BI Publisher, and Fluid UI development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing priorities effectively.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Create and implement technical modifications or integrations within the PeopleSoft HCM framework.
2. Collaborate with analysts to assess enhancement requests and their implications.
3. Support process design, conduct technical testing, and aid in user acceptance training.
4. Provide advanced troubleshooting for production issues and contribute to support documentation.
