Overview

ReIGNITE Hope is seeking a committed Welding Instructor to deliver practical welding education and serve as a mentor. This role involves teaching at our main campus and in our mobile training centers, directly impacting students' lives by providing marketable skills and fostering self-worth. Requirements

• Active American Welding Society (AWS) certification (or comparable credential) in at least two welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux Core). Multiple certifications are strongly preferred.
• Minimum of three years of professional welding experience in a production or fabrication setting.
• Proven experience in a formal teaching, training, or mentoring capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to adult learners.
• Strong dedication to safety, professionalism, and equipment maintenance.
• Spiritual maturity and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, aligning with our Christian nonprofit mission.
• Empathy, leadership, and the ability to foster a supportive, respectful learning environment.

Primary Duties

• Develop and deliver comprehensive welding lessons for adult learners with varied backgrounds.
• Provide individualized and group instruction at the stationary campus and inside mobile training units.
• Assess student work, maintain documentation, and track progress toward certifications and job readiness.
• Ensure all instruction meets or exceeds American Welding Society (AWS) standards.
• Enforce all workshop safety rules and maintain welding equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform basic repairs or troubleshooting.
• Mentor and motivate students, fostering confidence and professional conduct.
