Security Officer - Cannabis Dispensary

Overview: This is an armed security position for a dispensary in the Koreatown and Western areas. The ideal candidate will have extensive cannabis industry experience and provide a visible, proactive security presence. The pay rate is $19 to $21 per hour on a biweekly cycle.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of five years of experience in the cannabis industry.
• Must possess all required Level 3 security equipment.
• Must possess a bulletproof vest and duty belt.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must maintain excellent personal and uniform hygiene.
• Must demonstrate a proactive approach and high situational awareness.
• No personal phone usage while on duty.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Open availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment for all employees and the establishment.
• Check individuals in and verify identification.
• Prevent weapons from entering the premises.
• Patrol the exterior and interior of the property as a deterrent.
• Remove trespassers or loitering individuals from the property.
• Provide customer service.
• Arrive on time for all shifts.
