Part-Time Laboratory Courier

Overview

IEH Laboratories, a leader in food safety, is hiring a Part-Time Laboratory Courier. This role involves the secure transportation of samples and lab support duties. The position offers an hourly wage of $19.00 to $21.00 for 20-30 hours per week with a flexible Monday-Friday schedule starting at 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory. An associate degree in Biology or a related field is advantageous.
• Prior laboratory experience is desirable.
• Competence in data entry and computer software.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of aseptic laboratory procedures.
• Capacity to routinely lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds above waist height.
• A valid United States driver's license and a clear driving history with no at-fault accidents in the past five years, subject to ongoing Motor Vehicle Record reviews.

Position Responsibilities

• Secure and timely transportation of customer samples on a set route.
• Sanitizing and upkeep of sample delivery coolers.
• Preparation and quality checks of various culture medias.
• Sample processing, data entry, and record maintenance.
• Inventory management and performing additional tasks as needed.
