Overview

IEH Laboratories, a leader in food safety, is hiring a full-time Laboratory Courier in Fresno, CA. This role involves secure sample delivery, lab support tasks, and requires a valid driver's license with a clean record. The position offers an hourly wage of $19.00 to $21.00 with a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory. An associate degree in Biology or a related field is advantageous.
• Prior laboratory experience is beneficial.
• Competence in data entry and computer software.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of aseptic laboratory procedures.
• Capacity to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• A valid United States driver's license and a clear driving history with no at-fault accidents for at least five years, subject to ongoing Motor Vehicle Record reviews.

Job Responsibilities

• Securely deliver customer samples to the laboratory on a set route.
• Sanitize and maintain transport coolers.
• Prepare and conduct quality checks on culture media.
• Process samples, enter data, and manage records.
• Control inventory and perform additional tasks as needed.

Schedule

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week). Schedule is adaptable, Monday-Friday starting at 7:00 AM. Candidates must be available to work occasional weekend shifts.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Wage: $19.00 - $21.00
