Overview

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate for our design-focused retail storefront in Culver City. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative environment, enjoys providing personalized customer service, and is skilled in backend operations like inventory management and order fulfillment. The position requires availability to work weekends, holidays, and through December 23.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store.
• Develop lasting relationships with customers.
• Handle transactions using the Square point-of-sale system.
• Fulfill online orders and manage outgoing shipments.
• Restock products, organize, and maintain displays.
• Assist with visual merchandising in all store sections.
• Keep stockrooms clean, orderly, and hazard-free.
• Acquire product knowledge through training and independent study.
• Share sales observations and customer feedback with the team.
• Help with Shopify updates, inventory checks, and administrative duties.
• Contribute to special events and projects as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• One to two years of retail experience.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems; Square is preferred.
• Must be detail-focused, organized, and take initiative.
• Knowledge of Excel or inventory software is beneficial.
• Administrative experience is a plus.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Personal Attributes: Dependable, thorough, driven, friendly, engaging, capable of multitasking, collaborative, and communicative.
• Must be available to work through December 23.
