Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program recognized by the Medical Board of California.
- Must obtain LA County HIV Test Counselor Certification within the first 90 days of employment.
- Knowledge of HIV/STD prevention, medical terminology, and clinical procedures (phlebotomy, injections).
- Ability to provide risk-reduction counseling and maintain confidential patient information (HIPAA).
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster (or valid medical/religious exemption) is required.
