Overview

Provide a temporary, loving home for a rescued dog while Ace of Hearts searches for its permanent family. This is a deeply rewarding opportunity to rehabilitate a dog that was abandoned and facing euthanasia. We are specifically seeking fosters for the holiday period who have experience with large dog breeds.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older (individuals under 21 require parental consent).
• Must be available to foster from December 17 through January 10.
• Must possess reliable transportation and be able to transport the dog to designated veterinary appointments.
• Must be comfortable with and have prior experience with large dog breeds (50-90 lbs, primarily bully breeds). PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CAN ONLY FOSTER SMALL DOGS.
• Must have NO children under 10 years old, cats, or other dogs in the household. PLEASE do not contact us if you have children, cats, or other dogs.
• Must have obtained prior approval from all relevant parties (landlords, property managers, spouses). Do not apply without this approval.

About the Dog & Support Provided

Logan is a 3-year-old border collie and lab mix currently awaiting leg surgery, so his exercise capacity is limited. Ace of Hearts will supply all necessary items, including a bed, food, treats, toys, supplies, and veterinary care. Your role is to provide affection, safety, and updates on the dog's personality.
