Foster Caregiver for Rescue Dogs

Compensation: $300 monthly for a dog-friendly household

Overview

Provide a temporary, loving home for a large rescue dog during the holiday period (December 17 - January 10). Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue saves dogs from shelters and needs compassionate fosters to offer security and comfort while permanent homes are found. This is a deeply rewarding opportunity to rehabilitate a dog and directly save a life.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older (with parental consent if under 21).
• Must be available to foster from December 17 through January 10.
• Must have prior dog experience and be comfortable with large breeds (50-90 lbs, primarily bully breeds).
• Must have reliable transportation to take the dog to our designated veterinarian for appointments.
• Household MUST have NO children under 10, cats, or other dogs.
• Must have obtained approval from landlords/property managers and all household members.

Current Foster Dog

Logan is a 3-year-old Border Collie/Lab mix. He is awaiting leg surgery and currently has limited exercise capacity.
