Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution is mandatory.
- At least three years of financial analysis experience within a healthcare environment or FQHC is mandatory.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems is mandatory.
- Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
- Experience with revenue cycle management and healthcare reimbursement processes is mandatory.
- Knowledge of FQHC operations, federal healthcare regulations, and compliance standards.
- Must hold a valid California driver’s license, provide proof of auto insurance, and have access to a vehicle.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster are required, barring approved exemptions.

Essential Duties
- Generate monthly, quarterly, annual, and special request financial and operational reports.
- Evaluate performance indicators (denial rates, revenue per visit, patient numbers).
- Oversee and assess billing, claims, and reimbursement procedures to identify and resolve issues.
- Perform reimbursement studies and construct financial projections for FQHC collaborations.
- Aid in formulating the yearly operating and capital budgets.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and manage the submission of required reports (e.g., Medi-Cal, HRSA UDS, Medicare cost reports).
- Provide financial support for strategic projects and perform cost-benefit analyses.
