From the very beginning, humanity has been deceived. Humans are not self-governing beings. Their actions are directed by the same software program that sustains life in every individual. I refer to this software as "The War Brain." It compels humans to form synthetic groups, resulting in manufactured conflicts that are responsible for generating ninety percent of all technological advancement.
The critical issue facing humanity today is that this software is now operating far beyond its intended lifespan. Currently, a threat equivalent to a gun aimed at every person exists in the form of twenty-five thousand nuclear warheads, armed and prepared for deployment. This precarious situation can only be explained by the War Brain software program spiraling out of control. Humanity must rewrite its own core programming before time runs out.
