Join Summer Studio, a design-focused furniture atelier specializing in handcrafted, high-end wooden furniture and lighting. This role involves constructing production furniture, prototypes, and custom commissions in close partnership with the lead designer in our Los Angeles workshop.

Responsibilities
- Process, glue, and prepare hardwood components such as white oak, walnut, and ash.
- Perform accurate joinery utilizing a combination of hand tools, machinery, and CNC-assisted methods.
- Assemble, sand, and finish items to an elevated, gallery-quality standard.
- Engage in prototyping and design refinement, including problem-solving, jig creation, and process enhancement.
- Keep the workshop clean, orderly, and safe.
- Assist with packaging and shipping when required.

Requirements
- Background in fine woodworking or furniture fabrication, demonstrated through professional experience or a comparable portfolio.
- Capable of interpreting technical drawings, measurements, and shop plans.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of pride in one's workmanship.
- Able to thrive in a dynamic studio setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a cooperative attitude.
