Join a premier interior design studio in Los Angeles. We seek a freelance professional skilled in design and sourcing, who is passionate, dedicated, and thrives in a creative, collaborative environment. This role requires expert project organization and the ability to manage tasks independently.

Requirements

• Skilled in both design and sourcing, with a keen sense of style and strong instincts for practicality and budget management.
• Aesthetic must align with our philosophy: modern, organic, textured, and livable (warm minimalism with layered neutrals).
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and adept at independently managing time and tasks.
• Excellent at managing upward—shows initiative, communicates proactively, and advances projects without constant supervision.
• Client-oriented, remains composed under pressure, and is confident presenting concepts via Zoom, phone, email, or in person.

Skills & Tools

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong design sense and ability to source furniture, lighting, and decor to match budget and style.
• CAD (2D) proficiency for floor plans, elevations, and scaled layouts.
• Proficient with Google tools (Slides for design boards, Sheets, Gmail/Drive) for project organization.
• Confident in taking on-site measurements and creating floor plans.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience adapting luxury designs to meet budget constraints.
• Comfortable supervising freelance support or interns.

Bonus Skills:

• Photoshop or other visual editing software.
• Familiarity with trade vendors and design showrooms in Los Angeles.
