Pet Sitter - Los Angeles Area

Join our pet care team and enjoy the flexibility of setting your own schedule to work with pets in your home and local community. This role involves caring for animals while their owners are away. The average rate of pay is $24 per hour.

Job Description

Assignments typically involve visiting a client's home 1 to 2 times per day for 1 to 14 consecutive days. Each visit lasts between 20 and 90 minutes. Responsibilities include feeding pets, walking dogs, cleaning up, watering plants, and collecting mail. Opportunities for occasional overnight stays and boarding pets in your own home are available.

Requirements

• Must possess a genuine passion and solid understanding of caring for cats, dogs, and other animals.
• Need reliable transportation (ideally pet-suitable), with a current driver's license and valid insurance.
• Must respond quickly to emails and text messages.
• Able to commit to working with the company at least through November 2026.
• Available to work on weekends and holidays.
• Willing to cover visits scheduled for mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights.
• Must successfully pass a criminal and background check.
• Previous experience administering medication to pets is beneficial.
