Operations Manager

Location: Vernon, CA

Overview

This position is responsible for directing daily warehouse, distribution, and logistics activities to ensure smooth operations, precise inventory, and a safe workplace. The role offers an annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, based on experience, and reports to the Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse and Logistics Management: Supervise warehouse personnel, monitor KPIs (delivery timeliness, order precision, cost, safety), and optimize procedures for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping. Manage carrier scheduling and route planning.
• Inventory and Quality Control: Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts. Ensure compliance with food industry regulations (GMP, HACCP, allergen controls) and work with QA on product holds and recalls.
• Safety and Compliance: Uphold OSHA safety regulations and all applicable food industry standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years of leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, or general operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of distribution environments; preference for backgrounds in the food or consumer packaged goods sector.
• Demonstrated experience guiding teams in a rapid-paced operational setting.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and generating operational reports.
• Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
